Entrepreneurship is more than just starting a business. It's about identifying societal needs and creating a solution to fulfill that need. PEC offers workshops to middle and high school students where they learn how to build their own business by applying financial literacy principles. Our entrepreneurship program allow students to grow into passionate entrepreneurs and gain the tools and confidence to see their ideas come to life.
FINANCIAL LITERACY W/ ENTREPRENEURSHIP
Over the duration of this course, students are encouraged to develop their entrepreneurial skills and see their ideas come to life. Students are given the opportunity to work with working professionals who can help guide them on their projects, advise them on potential career paths, and potentially offer networking opportunities.
This mentor/mentee relationship also allows for students to see how their workshop experience and entrepreneurial interests can translate into a lucrative career in the real world; serving as inspiration for continued hard work, dedication, and effort. Junior and senior students can also qualify for transferable college credits from an accredited university upon completion of the entrepreneurship program.
